"The future belongs to those who learn what they need to learn so that they can do what they need to do."
Mostly Normal
As a sibling of a brother with a neurological disorder, Mostly Normal is based on the author’s own experience.
This book is an outcome of the struggle other siblings and parents go through when there is a child with special needs in the family. It is a collection of unedited letters the author wrote to her brother with a clear view to the readers about the challenges, grief, frustration and helplessness of a hopeful dreamy sibling who just wanted a companion in life to cover her feeling of isolation. The letters were written from her early childhood till 2019 which are published as a part of this book to reveal the journey of acceptance towards disabilities and encouragement to take responsibility for people with special needs.
